School Visit Information & Guidelines
The world has changed a lot in the past year, but we’re still bringing award winning authors and illustrators to schools all over Colorado via Zoom!
Author visits are a great way to teach kids about the creative process, telling stories, the power of perseverance and so much more! We work directly with authors, illustrators and publishers in order to share these creative stories with your students! Second Star provides you with everything you need to host a visit, including an online order form, Zoom Webinar attendee link, school flyer and a sneak peek at the featured title!
Before you book a visit, we do ask that you do a few things:

Make sure the date of the author visit is free from testing, field trips and other assemblies that would detract from the author's presentation

Check with your admin to get approval before requesting an author

Be willing to share school flyer and order link with students, their families and school staff
