Don't love your items? No worries! Items that have been unopened and unused may be returned within 14 days of receipt. To start a return, please contact us at shannonh@2ndstarbooks.com to obtain authorization for the return and receive additional instructions. We are sorry but we cannot accept any returns that have not been authorized by our team.  If the return is a result of an error on our end, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label once a team member has responded to your inquiry.  Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged and, at your discretion and cost, insured. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned to us. Items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for refund. Once we receive the returned item(s), your refund will be credited to the original method of payment within 1-3 business days.

All items will ship within 5 business days (our helper, Spinnie the dog, doesn’t have thumbs, please be patient). Once items are dropped off for shipment, Priority shipping takes 1-3 business days in transit. Once the order has been processed we can provide you with a tracking number, but cannot control where your package is or any delays that may occur.  We ship everything using USPS Priority Mail Orders $200+ ship for FREE *If items are overweight or oversized, there may be additional shipping costs. We will contact you via email in that case. An invoice will be sent for additional shipping costs and once paid, your package will be sent out. At this time we can ship anywhere in the contiguous United States. If you need to ship outside this area, please contact us for options and prices. Thank you for your understanding. Shipping is expensive for small businesses & we can assure you that we do not make a profit on shipping. We appreciate you choosing to shop small and for understanding our shipping policies.  If your package is returned to us because the address is incorrect or undeliverable, we will contact you for next steps.
